Sat Sri Akal,

It is hard to comprehend that you fell in love with a boy at the tender age of 13. Teenagers are very emotional and have some very good days and some very bad days. Teenagers also tend to confuse feelings of fondness for love. If you are truly in love with him, then you should also understand that you have to respect his wishes too. If he is similar to your age, then he just may not be ready to be in love with anyone. If he wants to focus on his career then maybe he's just trying to focus on establishing himself before he has to start caring for someone. If you are really in love with, you will understand his point of view.
Being married is a two-way street, there has to be love and understanding between the man and the woman, not just one of them.

About your second question, you have to figure out what is more important to you. Do you care more about being able to kiss somebody or being a true Sikh. Do you want to be caught in maya, or do you want to free yourself and develop a deeper understanding of life? Perhaps after you start meditating and paathing and realizing what it means to be a Sikh you will start to understand that such a superficial thing as kissing has nothing to do with real love.

Gur Fateh,
HSD
