hi, i have one question

is it true that you can read a person's hand and predict their future.
my grandmother reads peoples hands and tells them if they are going to be rich, how many kids iam going to have, if iam going to marry some good looking or not.
once my grandmother read my hands and told me everything, and then my dad read my hands and he told me the same thing. If this is true, is there anyway you could change it, because my future doesn't look so bright.

My understanding of palm reading is that it is based on the theory we create our physical projection and or appearance based on our psychic thought projections, and samkaras from previous lives. And the lines in our hands thus reveal our own beliefs and life choices. They also may tell us the direction we are headed if we do not use our free will to make concious choices. We often allow ourselves to be subjected to "behavior patterns" that follow old lines of thinking that surface from our subconcious.

It sounds as if you have had your palm read. Sikhi does not sanction listening to the prophecies of pandits and seers of any sort, because all our questions can be taken to Siri Guru and asked via Hukum. Understand that you can affect your life by the choices you make in conciousness. The way to build your own personal concious awareness is bani and simran. Guru gave us these for a reason: they clear the karma so we live in dharma. So, if your future is not looking bright, do your paath and practice naam simran at least 11 minutes a day, more is much better, and doing it with other Sikhs is EVEN better. Then do Ardas and take Hukum from Siri Guru, asking Siri Guru what you must do to make your life better. One meditation that will help is the Kirtan Kriya, which can be found by searching these exact keywords.
