Sat Siri Akaal. Generally, a second cousin is distant enough to not cause too much concern in terms of genetic defects that could arise in children due to too many similarities in the gene pool. You will BOTH need to get blood tests and see doctors about any hereditary diseases that run in both your immediate families. The doctors should be able to advise whether or not there are any markers that could indicate trouble with children you might have as a result of your distant blood connection.
Of course, another option is simply to adopt children rather than take any risks. There are so many children in the world who are parentless. Consider this as well.
Do your own internet research on risks of marrying second cousin, please. But best is to see medical professionals personally, together, BOTH OF YOU.
