I thought I would mention something that really helps me calm my mind when I see that things are not going right in my family. This is a puari from Jap Ji Sahib, and I think is very important for people to understand.

mannai paavahi mokh duaar.
The obeyer of the Lord's dictates obtains the door of salvation.
mannai parvaarai saaDhaar.
The obeyer of the Lord's dictates reforms his kith and kin.

Basically what this is saying is that: Those who have faith in God, will find the reformation of kith and kin performed. So be patient and understanding, that for those of you who are having a hard time with family, may find peace and comfort in understanding and reading Gurbani.
