I am 18 and my beard is getting longer everyday. I was just wondering if I start tying it, will this induce more rapid hair growth? Because I know one of my mamaji's ties his beard and the other does not and the one who ties his beard has a longer beard than the other.

Sat Siri Akaal. I do not believe tying a beard makes it grow longer. Barring medical intervention, one's hair length is per body type and genes, not whether or not we tie it one way or another. It is possible for brothers to have completely different hair lengths in beard or head hair. So tie away!
