You are all doing a great job and have helped me very much over the last few years.

I have read that when a person dies and do not go to God they will be re born into a human. But if they have been very evil they will have to go through the 8.4 million lives again. however, then I read that if someone does not go to God when they die they will go through 8.4 million lives again no matter if they were close to being one with God or not. Could you please clarify this for me as I am confused about it?

Also, my Grandfather died recently on 15th December. He died when he was taking amrit which had been made whilst doing paath.(it was not amrit to become amrit dhari but just taking it as it had been prepared whilst doing paath by a sant babaji) So as he was doing something related to God before his death will he go to God now?

How many days does it take the soul to reach God? i have read it takes 17 days and have also read it takes less than this so could you please let me know?

Sorry it is so long and thank you for your time.

Wahe Guru Ji ka Khalsa
Wahe Guru Ji ki Fateh!

What happens to you when you die is a matter of your vibratory frequency. If you meditate on God, and know and feel that you are one with God, your soul goes to God. If you identify with and are attached to earthly things, you return to the earth. It is a habit of consciousness.

Normally, it takes 17 days for the soul to pass through all the etheric levels of the earth's magnetic field. In case of a violent, sudden death (such as an automobile accident) the soul can reincarnate almost immediately.
