Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.

Sikh girls can be great Khalsa Warrior Princesses. There is a way to be both feminine and truly powerful. You don't have to choose between these two things as a Warrior Princess of Guru Gobind Singh. Train yourself physically - so that you know your strength. Learn a martial art, or gatka, so that you are always in a position to defend yourself and others. As a woman, you have the right to be powerful and strong. Sports are also great training for the body and the mind. So push yourself and feel that power in your body. You are a warrior and you need to understand yourself this way.

At the same time, have reverence for yourself as a woman and for your feminity. You are a princess, as well, and you can carry yourself with royalty, nobility, grace and beauty. Dress as a princess, carry yourself as a princess, relate to the subtelty of life as a princess, and learn to command your world as a princess. This way you own all of your power as a woman - and you won't have to sacrifice any part of you in order to be strong. Remember that a princess is a queen in training and one day - you must become a queen in order to carry your family and your community into the future. Leadership is part of a princess's training. Being a princess is not being a fluffy little doll for someone to pick you up and play with you. It is serious business. So be a Khalsa Warrior Princess and come into your power, wisdom, strength and grace. Guru is with you.

God bless.
