Summary of Question:Changing Nature
Category:General Sikhism

To say that there is a Sikh approach to this question is to bring Sikhism out of the world of reality and into the world of dogma. To be a Sikh is to be you - which answer to this question connects with your most authentic and sincere self?

Do you believe that neutering an animal is better for that animal and its species in the long run, as it prevents over population? Or do you believe that neutering an animal is a cruel and unnatural act that prevents the fulfillment of that animal's life? Or something else?

Your Sikh practice will shape you into your authentic self. The issue is not the answer to the question. The issue is your relationship to the answer - if sincere, it is the Sikh approach. If insincere, it is not.

Hi, this may sound like a unusual question but i wanted to know whether neutering animals is accepted in a sikhs approach.
