Sat Siri AKaal.
No, the Gurus did not talk of the end of this age nor did they engage in prophesizing wars, earthquakes, famines, etc, with the exception of Guru Nanak who cites a Moghul invasion ONCE. (Sorry, I don't recall the cite in SGGS.) The Gurus were here to teach us how to live as householders while holding fast to the Naam. They taught us how to be liberated while engaged in daily life. For the same reason that they did not practice miracles or save themselves from the tyranny of the Moghuls (i.e.,g 5th & 9th Guru), they did not engage in describing the times to come. Rather, they taught us how to live in the NOW with the Name as our support. "Sucha Naam Mayraa Adhaaro. The True Name is my only Support" (Anand Sahib). They gave us sangat, langar, shabd Guru in Siri Guru Granth, and a rehit to serve as the tools for the times, whatever they might bring.
Other paths cite horrible things to come, as much to convince us to join them and be 'saved' as to live right now, while we can. To worship on a path because of fear of the future does not seem a very reliable basis for faith. Gurus went the other direction, and by the time of Guru Gobind Singh, taught us instead to live fearlessly as soldier saints, and to always be ready to battle untruth and unrighteousness however it manifests, whether on the battlefield or in our own hearts & minds. Big difference from living in fear of endtimes, eh?
I hope this helps you determine the spiritual path that is TRUE for you.
Guru angsang,
