ok so hell is like a cycle of births and deaths but i havnt learned what heaven is like. i know it's "becoming one with God" but what is it like? do you just "hang out" with God in heaven?

Sat Sri Akal,

Heaven and hell are both here and now. When you live, you can make it your own heaven or your own hell, it depends on how you want to live your life. So in this sense, heaven or hell does not exist. What is happening is that for a period we are one with god, and then we are not one with god (i.e., our life as a human). Which is actually kind of confusing because even when we are in human form we are still one with god but we just don't know it!

To put it in a different way, we live our lives as humans and if we do pious deeds, have good karma, and meditate on the True Name then we will become one with God, otherwise we will have to go through the cycle of life and death again and again. Becoming one with God does not mean "hanging out" with God; if we become one with god we ARE god.
