hello, i was hoping you could tell me more about this certain object in our religion, it is a type of pot with several holes in it, when water is poured into it the water comes out via the holes, however when milk is poured into it the milk doesnt leak out. can you please tell me what it is called and the significance of it? thankyou very much - i also would like to thank you for your website - it is great.

Sat Siri Akaal. I have never seen this object, which tells me that it is something from another non-Sikh Indian tradition, perhaps Hindu. Nothing like that is used in any aspect of Sikh practice or Gurdwara protocol as I know it. Sorry. Guru ang sang,
