sir

as every body says that shree gurugranth saheb is our last guru and we have to find all the meaning in the shree gurugranth saheb.. but i noticed daily bhaijee of each gurudwara read a para from shree gurugranth saheb and cover it up without knowing that what he read and what is the meaning of that para and as we are from M.P. we cant understand fully the meaning of that sentence it is our humble request that they have to compoulsory translate the meaning in punjabi in each gurudwara so we all who dont know or understand the meaning, can understand the teaching of our loving gurus so we can follow their path.

(REPLY)

Your suggestion is excellent, but in order to make it compulsory, that order would have to come from some authority. Meanwhile, just for your information, here in the United States, in the Gurdwaras that have English speaking people, the hukam is always translated in to English, and on Sundays, where there is a large sadh sangat, it is also translated into Punjabi. Why don't you write, or speak to the Granthi at the Gurdwara you attend, and make your request? And/or write to the SGPC with your request. God and Guru bless you! SP
