Sat sri akal. I am a jatt sikh who is currently going out with a muslim. I feel like this guy is perfect for me and that I would love to spend the rest of my life with him. He has noone else to call his own. His parents both passed away and he is here supporting himself. There is something in him that I have yet to find in other guys. He really cares for me. I have tried talking to my mom about this but I have only told her he is half muslim. She seemed ok witht he fact that he was half and half. Although this is not the complete truth I am very very confused. I am open to any suggestions. Thank you

The most important thing is to really investigate together if you want to spend your life together. It is very complicated. Go to our matramonial section on Sikhnet and look at the questins there. How will you raise your children? What religion will you both observe. Do you both respect each other's beliefs. Talk openly and honestly and allow the real person and goals and priorities to come out. Good luck. Let us know how it goes. GTKK
