SSA

I went over, read my earlier posting and wanted to apologize for my negative tone. Further, i am including information, links on Radha Soami path. What i know is disclosed below: RS path is a lifestyle, not a religion, not a cult but a chosen lifestyle which takes the core of any religion and strips away the rituals and religious trends. It's followers are asked to refrain from: sex outside of wedlock, alcohol and mind expanding drugs. Followers are encouraged to live a "clean moral life and earn an honest living". Lastly, to devote minimum 2.5 hours to meditation everyday. Current Baba Gurinder Singh ji, encourages people to seek, and not follow the RS path simply because they r born into a family of satsangis. I want to add that, RS foundation is simply the core of any religion, before the different languages, rituals, entities were created. Initiation is a process where the representative or baba ji, gives the 5 holy names written in all holy books (SGGS, Quran, Gita, etc.) Before applying for inititiation it is strongly recommended that one resist the pull untill it can't resist anymore. Another requirement is to maintain the criteria above throughout life. I don't think RS promotes "worshipping" baba ji or bowing to him, infact he is against bowing to him. MOst of the satsangs are done taking banis from SGGS, quran, the bible, kabir, sultan bahu, bulleh shah, baba farid, paltu sahin, meera bai..etc. anyway, below are some links laying down the pros and cons i found on net:

again..i regret my negative tone. You guys (moderators) are doing a great seva without any bias.
Thank You

Thank you for your post. When I first became a Sikh under the guidance of Yogi Bhajan, we practiced a clean life style (and still do) like you described. You can imagine my shock when I found out that not all Sikhs lived this way. GTKK
