I have been a Amritdhari for nearly 2 years now(2 in April). I would just like to know if it is necessary for an amritdhari female to keep her head covered all the time.e.g in uni, school,work etc. When i had Amrit we weren't told to hace the head covered all the time but you get such people whojust have to give thatstare which just basically says that look at that amritdhari aian't got their head covered. Dear Harsharan:

This question was recently answered here. Simply put, the answer is yes, an Amritdhari woman should cover her head. Search by date and look for a post entitled: "woman with turban" dated 7/1/2001 and another post, "correction on turban" dated 7/3/2001.
