You know, I can't give you permission or not give you permission for something that is totally between your consciousness and your Guru. Guru Gobind Singh gave us our kesh for a reason, naturally, uncut, not rolled up like the British wanted, but flowing and natural. Guru Gobind Singh is our father. We are the daughters and sons of him. I relate to him as my Father...and I want my identity to reflect that. But, that is my choice, my consciousness. I can't tell you what is best for you.
