Hello,

I don't really agree with your answer to this certain question asked earlier. If someone has Guruji in their house it is like a Gurdwara. Any place Guru ji resides is Guruji's home. I think it wrong to say that once you shut the door of the Guru's room, you can cook meat depending on what ur conscious believes. That is like saying if you go to any gurdwara once you shut the doors of the darbar you can go to the langar hall and cook meat if your conscious lets you. My friend's family used to do this at their home, but I explained to them not to. For one, the food you are going to give to Guruji is going to be amongst the meat in the kitchen. Another thing is when you cook the meat you use the same utensils to cook guruji's food in. Third, the smell can reach our Guru where He resides. None of this is respectful. Guruji's own teachings say not to eat meat. Why do it, if your going to have Him there? I don't know what else to say. If I have said wrong please forgive me. I just want to clear up any misunderstandings and say that everyone should respect Guruji as much as you can, and if you want to do His seva, do it with utmost sharda and satkaar. Waheguru!
