why does the soul enter the body at the 120th day of the foetus? i dont get it! there is a heart beat from the first day so isnt the soul there when the heart beat starts to beat?

No. The soul connects to the foetus at the 120th day. The heart beat is there just as the buds of organs, hands, feet, etc are there early in fetal growth. That's the physical development. The soul connection and development come later. A fetus does not a FULL human make. It is soul that distinguishes humans from animals. Soul's involvement with any physical body, whether foetus or fully grown, is a matter between Soul and Waheguru. Animals don't have this luxury. So this gives you some idea why the soul is not automatically connected to the fetus at the time of conception.
