"misconception about eating flesh" by sandeep singh brar. this has put me in total confusion.the article also states that gurus themselves ate flesh at many occasions. if you can show me the right path .i'll be highly obliged.if this atricle is fake ,then hang that bludy "sandeep singh brar" in front of darbar sahib.

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.

Articles by many people can say many things. Historical stories can be misconstrued. The essence of the Sikh path is to not eat meat because when you eat meat, you add poison and toxins to your body. Those toxins interfere with the biochemical process that accompanies deep meditation. It is not a philosophical issue or a value issue. It is simply a matter of body chemistry. People who eat meat are polluting themselves at such a level that the deeper states of meditation are more difficult to experience. And it is in those deeper states that we experience the Naam - the True Spirit of the Divine within us.

The Guru also told us not to get caught up in arguing about it. We accept that God's Will prevails and if someone eats meat - well, that is God's Will. But for our own commitment to our own meditation and highest consciousness, we do not eat meat. We confine our diet to what the Guru serves at the Golden Temple.

I hope this clears up your confusion.

Wahe Guru Ji Ka Khalsa, Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh.
