Sat Nam! I couldn't resist answering your question. <g> Sounds like an emergency. Both my children have had either wax or chewing gum in their hair.

The answer is ICE. You have to make the wax hard and brittle. Chill the wax with ice, and then break it up with your fingers. Finally a shampoo with lots of hot water for final cleanup, then lots of patient untangling with brush and comb.
