I have met someone who is not Sikh, though I come from a traditional gursikh family. I am scared to tell my parents and family, but I really do love him. And wish that i would not put my parents thru this, who have done everything for me, but this is the rest of my life and i only look forward to sharing it with him. He is religious, and entertains the idea of raising children in both settings. how does one go about breaking this sort of news to one's parents ?when is this at all appropriate? i need some help please ..
