Sat Siri Akaal. Guru Hargobind, Guru Har Rai and Guru Gobind Singh all were 'falconers' -- they raised and trained falcons for hunting. [The 'issue' of hunting by our Gurus has beend dealt with in this forum elsewhere; you can search keywords: Guru + hunt.]

These 3 Gurus all were warriors. The falcons were a symbol of the warrior and of royalty. Imagine being able to command a mere bird! There is a power in being seen with such a noble bird on one's arm and our Gurus used that to show the Moghul rulers that they (the Gurus) were royal and fearless. Falcons thus represented power and royalty. I do not know the names of any of the falcons used by Guru Gobind Singh or the other Gurus.
guru fateh!
