waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh

hallo please take a few mins to answer my few questions:-

1. I know that gurmukhi and sanskrit are both mantric languages, I also know that gurmukhi contains naad, however i would to ask;- whats the difference between the two and can you explain the science behind them both, please?

2. how come the punjabi and american sikh communities don't unite, they both seem independant and it seems that the punjabi youth sikhs that live in western countries and non sikhs need that scientific explaination. In this way we can reach 980 million or so in speed.

3. in gurbani it says God is self created- does this make sense, how can something be created by itself when it hasn't been created? or is this a bad translation? In other parts of gurbani it says that the infinite is unborn- so there must be a typo or can you explain please?

4. Is the SA-TA-NA-MA mantra okay for reciting loudly for 30 mins, or do you HAVE TO start from loudness- to whisper- to quietness? If yah know what i mean

waheguru ji ka khalsa, waheguru ji ke fateh

----

1- Gurmukhi is a much simplier language, created so that the masses could easily learn it and use it to access their connection to the Shabd Guru. Sanskrit is probably the oldest religion and was very complicated, only accessible to the highest classes. Guru Nanak and Guru Amardas knew that the scriptures needed to be available to anyone who wanted it.

2- The Punjabi and American Sikh communities are uniting in many ways and areas of the world. It takes time. Many Punjabi Sikhs haven't accepted the American Sikhs as "true Sikhs". It takes time to turn people around and the youth. Youth are more open-minded. What can you do to bridge the gap?

3- I don't think it is contradictory at all. God is self-created, because He/She doesn't need anything else to be created. It is "enough" in itself. Then, to say that the infinite is unborn just means that that creative force is constantly being born every minute of every day. That force is limitless, timeless, boundaryless.

4- Yes, SaTaNaMa can be recited outload for 31 minutes or what ever time. It is a mantra that you can keep with out all day long, no matter what you are going. The meditation that you mentioned (outloud, whisper, silently, etc) is good for breaking addictions of any kind. Repeating SaTaNaMa outload is good to keep yourself centered and connected to your soul.

I hope this answers your questions. GTKK
