i will be going to Bali and was worried of security obligations there. i hear that hotels, tourists sites etc have metal detectors, how will i get round this with my kirpan. on plane yes i can do ardass and take off then put back on but how can i avoid security while in bali.


was wondering if anyone else has been thier recently?

Sat nam. This is the kind of thing wooden kirpans were designed for. Or small kirpans that you tuck in your turban that are symbolic and not threatening. You could wear the kirpan out but if folks in Bali don't know what it's for, then you have that issue of explaining yourself. It might do to contact the indian embassy in Bali or in Indonesia and ask their advice. Someone there might be Sikh and understand. Guru ang sang,
