Summary of Question:	God-Given Talents

this is a question that i've been wondering for awhile. There are a lot of people in this world who have some sort of talent in an area that could make them better then others if they worked hard at it, but then there are others who don't have that talent in that area but no matter how hard they work at it they can't surpass the ones with talent, is this true? another thing is why is it that god gives certain talents to others (e.g sports,singing,dancing etc etc.) but others he simply leaves talentless? I consider myself as one of the talentless even though i pray most of the time and do naam simran during the day to myself, if you can, can you please give me an example in how our past karma can decide the certain gifts god gives us in this lifetime please? Please answer soon and Thank You.

I believe that everyone has a talent of some kind. It may be less visible than some, but everyone has things that they are good at. It may be something like kindness, generosity, calmness, communication. The important thing is to be open to knowing yourself. Honestly look at yourself and allow your talents to emerge. Karma is between you and your actions and God. How could I know that? But I do believe that we bring karmas with us from life to life and that these challenges must be faced in order to go on. GTKK
