Can you please tell me the names of the daily prayers for a Sikh, and weather they should be recited in the morning or night? And is it even necessary for them to be recited out loud?

(REPLY) Sat Nam. This information has been given before on this Forum. Kindly search under "Banis" or go to the home page of SikhNet and find the link to the basic tenets of Sikh Dharma. Ideally, yes, they should be recited aloud. There are five prayers. Starting with Japji Sahib first. Look up the info. SP
