I am a sikh by religion ..I am 21 and a working professional. Though i grew up in a Gursikh family my parents never forced me to do path or to recite shabads. but always wanted me to. Last year i attended a camp where i discovered a true spirit of a SIKH and khalsa panth. i hardly knew about my religion before but now since i know what it takes to be a SIKH, i am facing so many new questions.

My non sikh friend askes me " why should religion be a medium to remember God?"
He said that religion is the crux of all the problems- what one person understands so the other follows blindly and the real essence disappears.
Is there a difference between 'religion' and 'faith' ? I am sure u all have answers for me. I will be eagerly awaiting them.

thanx

Of course we all have answers for you. Anyone of the street will give you an opinion, including your misinformed friend. Wouldn't it be great though if you came up with the answers by yourself? Wouldn't that make the answers more meaningful to you?
