The name Sandeep Kaur means Princess of the Light of the Sun. If it matters to YOU that your name is not strictly from Gurbani, then change it to something that has meaning for you that IS from Gurbani. Otherwise, it doesn't matter. Being Sikh is not about your name, it is about your actions and the sincerity, the heart with which you approach your practice of the Sikh faith.
