Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Je Ke Fateh!

I have a question about amrit vela. what is so special about it? and i use to wake up at amrit vela (3am) and then my punjabi school teacher said that the people who did something good in their last life wake up at amrit vela and i do believe that because all the gurus said wake up at amrit vela and do your nitnem and since my punjabi school teacher told me that something happend to my mind and now it is very hard for me to wake up at amrit vela. i still sleep at the same time i did when i use to wake up at amrit vela. please help me wake up at amrit vela because i love my gurus and i love waheguru and i want to go to them when i die.i still do all my nitem and banis and recite waheguru simrin when ever i feel like it and i got to simrin on saterday morinings from 4am to 6am. that is the only day i can wake up at amrit vela now.can you please answer my questions? Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa Waheguru Ji Ke Fateh!!

The Amrit Vela is a magic time, wherever one lives. It is when the earth's magnetic field (at your location) is at its clearest and thus it makes it easier for one to discover Guru/God within when chanting the Naam. One can chant the Naam anytime, of course, but effect overall is magnified during the Amrit Vela. Don't take my word for it, see for your self!

Look son, if you are going to commit to getting up in the Amrit Vela, you just have to DO IT. (1) get a good, loud alarm clock and set it on a table away from your bed so you have to get out of bed to turn it off. (2) get your friends and family involved so you help each other wake up/stay up and practice. In the company of the sadh sangat does one find the Guru.
