Sat Siri Akal.
For a Sikh, the soulmate is the Guru. That's it. The entire Lavan, the marriage ceremony, is a rite that unites your soul to the Guru as the True Spouse. The earthly marriage is just a vehicle to grow spirituality. Who you marry or who your partner with-that's just karma.
God bless.
