I HAVE A VERY BIG AND CONFUSING PROBLEM , WHICH I WANT GURU JEE TO SHOW ME THE RIGHT WAY , I'M GETTING MARRY IN FEB 2004 BUT I REALLY DONT WANT TO MARRY THE GUY BCOZ I REALLY DONT LOVE HIM , HE IS ELITE AND AND A MAN WHO LOVE DRINKING , I HAVE A BOYFRIEND WHI IS IN CANADA AND WHO REALLY LOVE ME AND WE ALSO WANT TO MARRY BUT I DONT KNOW HOW TO TELL MY PARENTS ABOUT HIM BCOZ THE WEDDING DATE IS ALSO BEEN FIXED ,I REPECT MY PARENTS A LOT , SO I AGREE TO MARRY HIM , BUT NOW I CANT FORCE MYSELF TO MARRY A MAN LIKE HIM , SO I HAVE TOLD MY SISTER ABOUT MY FEELINGS AND SHE TOLD ME TO GIVE HIM A CHANCE MAYBE HE WILL CHANGE ...I DONT BELIEVE THAT ANY ONE LIKE HIM WILL CHANGE , HOW SHOULD I EXPLAIN MY FEELING TO MY PARENTS ...WHAT SHOULD I DO , EXCEPT MARRYING THAT GUY ?PLEASE GIVE ME THE RIGHT WAY ............

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Don't ever marry anyone thinking that you can change him! You should have been honest with your parents before things went this far with the wedding date set. But believe me, it's better to have a broken engagement than to spend the rest of your life married and miserable. Is the man in Canada willing to marry you? You need to tell your parents how much you love them, and that you are really sorry if you are hurting them, etc. etc, but it's time for you to tell them the truth, no matter how much it hurts. There will be embarrassment, certainly, and social pressure. But it is after all your life, and you have a right to make some choice. I hope it works out for you. Better pray very hard for a miracle!
