If I am wrong I accept this and am sorry however at the same time I also believe this is contradictory considering this person's family sit and eat meat and drink alcohol directly infront of the Guru's pictures virtually everyday with at most a yards distance. Is this not equally offensive. Why should it be more offensive if you place a glass on the shelf for a few seconds which happens to be located by a picture of the Gurus but it isn't so to spend the entire evening consuming alcohol and eating meat in front of the pictures?
How are you doing harm? I also am sure Guru Gobind Singh Ji said to people do not to have pictures of me.
I find it so utterly amazing how some people pick and choose what they believe is wrong but pretend and ignore what bad things they actually do on a daily basis outside the home.
Is this not hypocrisy?
God Bless His Creation
(REPLY) Sat Nam. What were you doing with a glass of alcohol in your hand in the first place? So I fail to understand why you are complaining. We are each responsible for our own behavior. It is not our job to judge or criticize others. Just for the record, I was taught that GurSikhs do not eat meat, smoke, or drink alcohol. SP
