I am very greatful for the replies I recieved to my previous questions!!

There are just a fewe more I need help with!

1) When people walk around the Nishan Sahib what path do they say?
2) What respect should be given to our Nishan Sahib?
3) When the sangat bows infront of the SGGSJ what should they say/think, do we make our own personal prayers or thank god or what?

Dear One:
Sat Siri Akaal. Sorry for the delay.
1. Whatever suits them, such as Sat Nam Waheguru or other gurbani. There is no prescribed paath.
2. Many people touch the Nishan Sahib and then touch their foreheads, which is a way of saluting the flag. Generally, devoted Sikhs honor or salute a nishan sahib in some way, such as hands folded at the heart and a slight bow, or what I described above.
3. It is ideal to repeat Mul Mantr or 1st slok of Sukhmani (Aad Guray Nameh, Jugaad Guray Nameh, Sat Guray Nameh Siri Guroo Dayv Ay Nameh.) But again nothing is prescribed. Personal prayers can certainly be said when standing before SGGS and when actually bowing.

God bless you to keep up!
