I want to give suggestion to this question as I too came across this quite a number of times. But I always made sure I answer the concerned newspaper, website or even the e-mails about Sardar Jokes. I always call the newspaper, e-mail the editor in website and also do "Reply all" with this message:.......

Dear Editor/ Friends,

Thank you for sharing such a nice jokes on your website. With this e-mail I don't want to offend anyone but I really wanted to share my concern with every person who belong to Sikh or Sardar Family or even care about Sikhism. I think this is a high time we all should stop sending all these jokes about Sardars. In my whole life I have not seen any foolish Sardar or any Sardar doing any foolish or stupid things. Due to all this jokes, Sardars are not given their due respect and the height of all this happened when a person made a 12:oo Clock Noon joke on one of India's highest respected person-OUR PRIME MINISTER- one of the most respected and qualified leader in the world. Again I apologize if I hurt anyone's feeling but.....being away from country and in the middle of strangers where I want to let the world know who Sikhs are and in my own country..............people who don’t even know their roots and also who saved them from Mughals are trying to crack jokes on Sikhs. That’s DISGUSTING. As an editor you have a responsibility to see if all religions and people are given true respect. Also another surprising thing is people who are writing these jokes are mostly Hindus……… who don't even know their history(Sikhs saved them)Anyway, I think I said too much and if I hurt any one's feeling I apologize. Love and Regards to all.
