Summary of Question:Are we a Unique kind?

Sat sri Akal young ones and respected elders. My question or point is reguarding the Sikh community, we as Sikhs are not allowed to go t the Mandir to pray as they idolize which is strictly forbidden in Sikhism, If Sikhs were meant to be Hindus then Guru Nanak Dev ji would never have questioned the Hindu religion. Yes all people from all religions hypothetically can be called Brothers and sisters but do they treat us with the same respect as we do them?

You are correct, we are not Hindu's. As an American who adopted the Sikh Path, I never knew what a Hindu was until well after I became a Sikh. Hindu was no part of my thinking.
The biggest heart is the one that forgives the most. The greatest mind is the one that sees God in all. That's why we serve all without regard to religion. It doesn't matter what they do, only what we do.
