I know sex is forbidden in Sikhism. But in this western world there are many temptations. I am trying to not have sex before marriage. Are other forms of sex just as bad? Sex is defined as penis and vaginal intercourse. If you just kept to oral sex, would that be just as bad as having actual sex. I know it is still bad, but it is better than having sex. What do u think, and what does Sikhism preach on this subject?

Sex is a very subtle thing. This is why as a Sikh, you are instructed to relate to all people (other than your spouse) as your mother, father, brother, sister, son or daughter. I would encourage you to refrain from relating to someone sexually until you are married.
Humbly,
Mangala Sadhu Sangeet Singh
