Summary of Question:	How Will I Know If I'm Ready To Take Amrit

Sat Sri Akal,

I've been asking myself this question for quite a while now. I know I'm not ready to take Amrit et, as I've still got to work on a few areas in my life (i.e getting to do 5 banis in the morning, and the banis in the evening, focusing my life on my relationship with the Guru). Though I'm not ready yet, I'm just worried that this constant putting-it-off may result in my never getting around to taking amrit. Even worse is my fear that I'll die before having taken amrit.... how will I know if I'm ready, and what can I do to accelerate my commitment to God?

Dear One;
Sat Siri Akaal. An answer to this question is found under a post titled "Amrit" dated 6/4/2001.

If you really feel called to Amrit, just do it. The vow you make will be the push you need to live it, rather than expecting to live it first and then promise it.
