Summary of Question:	is jhataka meat accepted in sikhi

i am gursikh. i recently read in sikh site( sikhglory.com ) that eating meat preared by jhataka is accepted in sikhi which is contrary to my belief. please throw some light.

No meat is allowed for someone who have taken Amrit Sanchar. I think that saying jhatka meat is acceptable is a loop hole for some to justify eating meat.

We do see there is controversy about this topic of eating animals in the Sikh community. Animals have consciousness and eating them gives you their conscousness and their karma. There is a saying " Eat meat and you cannot meet God".

Better to avoid arguments with those that just like to argue this point. Keep up with your practice and tell them you don't discuss this. End of issue.
