What does our religion says about sex and mesturbation ?

If someone really wants to get rid of masturbating, then how is it possible? Do i have to take some sort of medicatons for that ??
I really want to get rid of this as this is taking my whole consentration away from me.
PLease help me ...i really need ur help.

I don't know what religion would say, except that it is not very natural when its not between two people. The polarities can't intermingle...there's no union. On the other hand, psychologists would say that it is perfectly fine and healthy. Yogicly, which is the perspective from where I will answer, there is a difference between men and women. For women, it doesn't matter much, unless it is excessive, because she will have her energy concentrated in her sex organs. That creative energy could be used for other creative and productive things. If she masturbates a lot that creative energy is wasted. Men, though, are much more affected energetically. You mentioned that you were losing your concentration. That is exactly what happens. Masturbation for men dries up the seminal fluid going to the brain, which makes it harder to concentate and focus. What to do about it? Take cold showers, do yoga, meditate, play sports to the point of sweating and good exertion. Good Luck. GTKK
