I am going to try and be as discrete as I can about the question I need to ask…
I am a 26 year old Sikh male, I am not amritdhari but i keep my long kesh and beard un-shorn and have always worn a dastaar.
My wife and I are quite in love and have been together for more than 6 months now. We both are sexually quite active and enjoy love making. My question is, while making love, my jura often comes lose as I dont wear a dastar during the process. Obviously our hands touch not so hygienic parts of the body and the same touch my hair (even though we both are quite hygiene conscious).
Is this a "sin"/ "kurehat"?? Is caressing of my kesh by my wife wrong or against sikhi? I do not want to say anything to my wife about this as I think I might hurt her feelings or embarrass her.

This question might seem irrelevant but I sure am concerned and have no one else to turn to.
Please Help!

Sat Nam,

Exchanging germs is a natural part of marriage and specifically of love making process. I am sure you wash your hair regularly but you should never be too fanatic or obsess about it. If the unwanted germs get where they should not go it is just a natural sacrifice for intimacy. I am sure you know that you need to sacrifice quite a bit of your privacy to get intimacy in return and that is a welcome and beautiful sacrifice. It is just a part of human life. Things always get messy in many different ways in a marriage, so you just keep cleaning up, it is just a part of life.
