My dear,
greetings & blessings to you.
You sound so so inspired. All the original Sikhs were either Hindu or Muslim in origin. Not knowing where you live and what Gurdwara's are around....I could refer you to some good reading material.

The book called Victory and Virtue.....available on SIKHNET site has two wonderful chapters. One is called THE AMRIT SANCHAR. The other one is called: Rehit Maryada. They go into detail about all the requirements and practices of being a Sikh. Check it out.

Blessings to you on your path.

Wahe Guru Ji Ka KHalsa.
Wahe Guru Ji Ki Fateh,
SKKK
