I agree with the response that the moderator had given with respect to this question, but if i may add a bit ...

As everything else, Waheguru has given you your family and friends. And as everything there is a reason (only Waheguru knows) that you are surrounded by these people. Perhaps you are to learn something from them or teach them something. Perhaps due to your/their past lives you need each other. There is a reason that we come into this world (and not just to help our karma but to help the karmas of others).
