We would like some details/information on the initiation of a boy who is preparing to wear a his first turban. How old and what cermonies (if any) preceeds it?

There is no special ceremony or initiation into a boy wearing his first turban. It is something that the parents decide when the boy is ready to learn how to tie his own turban. Before that, a parent will tie it for him.
