Summary of Question:Re: What To Do As A Single Parent?
Category:General Q's from Non-Sikhs

I would like to say something about the response given by the respected moderator ji.

"Forget about your ex. He is a jerk."

What do you mean he is a jerk? Don't you think its girl's fault. Why are you blaming the guy? The reply was excelent that forget the past and move on, etc. etc. and I love it. But blaming entirely the guy is wrong. If someone has to be blamed, its the girl. She is the one who does drinking, flirting, and having sex before marriage. None of these things are allowd in Sikhi and this girl calls herself a sikh. Is it a joke? She is the one who allowed herself to be abused by her own will. Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh. I have not read the prior posts; but it doesn't matter. THere is NOTHING to be gained by pointing fingers or blaming ONLY one side. A RELATIONSHIP takes TWO people, not one, so in some way both are 'at fault.' It is NEVER, NEVER just about one side in any relationship, no matter how it looks to us from outside of it. Both parties have personal choice in their thoughts, actions, and reactions.

What is important for growth is that each TAKE PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY for his and her actions, acknowledge the mistakes, and move on. Guru ang sang,
