Arranged marriages are very acceptable and a common practice among Sikhs. A lovong family that is concerned with finding a good 'match' for their child or brother/sister is often how it is done. People contact each other through word of mouth from relatives, freinds and families, newspaper adds, gurdwara adds etc.
