I know that in the Muslim faith it is acceptable to marry cousins. What are the "rules" of the Sikh faith? Should there be absolutely no blood relation between 2 marriage partners?

First cousins are generally considered too close in gene bloodline for healthy progeny. Tendency for birth defects and deformitys.
