I was wandering if there were any yoga techniques to help prevent snoring. I have a problem as I actually stop breathing when I snore. And the lack of oxygen means I feel very drowsy and tired in the morning when I get up
Please Help.

I have never heard of such techniques, but daily practice of breath of fire might help. It will certainly oxygenate your blood and brain. (see.www.3HO.org and click on Kundalini yoga.) That said, your situation is called sleep apnea, and you need to see a medical doctor or some licensed healer about it. Since it is not just snoring, it is breath stoppage, it can be dangerous, actually. There are pillows and other things recommended for it I believe, but as I'm not a doctor and don't have this problem, I cannot say what. Please see a doctor.
