sat sri akal ,

i am a 9 year old soon to be 10 years in 4 th grade in a torrace school in ca.being a sikh i have long hair and i am the only one in school who has long hair and some kids bother me even after i have reported .please advise me what to do because i don't want to cut my hair .

Sat Siri Akal - Lakshdeep Singh Ji! The kids at school are trying to get you to react to their taunts. They want you to get angry or feel hurt so that they can show their power over you. It is a kind of test. They are testing you to see if you will react to them. Be cool and do not get angry or react to them.

But you must show them where the line is that they must not cross. Do not let anyone touch or pull your patka.

As for their words, ignore them. If they cannot get you to respond to them, they will see your strength and stop teasing you.
