hello im sorry to bug you with this but i havent been able to find the answer and i kinda need to know so if you could help that would be great. I need to know if their is a leader of Sikhism. In christianity there are priests and i wasnt sure if there was on e head "priest". Thank you for your time.

(REPLY) Sat Nam. Everyone is equal in the eyes of God and Guru, and therefore we do not have anyone who has to intercede for us in our relationship to God and Guru. However, from an administrative standpoint, and to conform with the laws in varioius countries, in Sikh Dharma we have a ministry - people who are committed to serving the sadh sangat and can legally perform weddings, etc. The Chief religious and Administrative authority for the Sikh Dharma of the western hemisphere is the Siri Singh Sahib, Bhai Sahib Harbhajan Singh Khalsa Yogiji. "Leaders" are made and known by their sacrifice, service, humility and courage. Such a person is our Siri Singh Sahib. I've been privileged to know him for over 33 years. (I am also a Minister of Sikh Dharma, and a member of the Khalsa Council, which is a body of Sikh Ministers) Blessings, SP
