Waheguru ji ka khalsa,

Waheguru ji ki fateh.
Satsriakal Everybody!I have a little confusion in my mind if you guys can help me so i will be very thankful to you.
why Akand Padth is only for three days why not five days? The Main thing in Akand Padth is we shouldn't stop. Does it matters if we finish the padth in five days or we have to finish in three days.
Dhanwad!
Thank You

You are right. If you want or need the days to complete your Akhand Path it is fine.

In fact, when we do Akhand Path, as we read from the 8 Volume set or the one Volume Guru containing English translation as well as the Gurmukhi. This allows everyone to participate, not just fast Gurmukhi readers. We do 72 hour Akhand Path...roughly 3 days. Most Gurdwara's do 2 days.

Our school children at Miri Piri Academy in Amritsar do Akhand Path a few times a year this way.
